The Ginac Group Grooms New Executive for Leadership Position

Overview
The CEO of a mid-size high-tech company asked The Ginac Group to provide coaching to an employee who was newly promoted to a key Sales Manager role. While Sally, the employee, possessed strong business development and negotiation skills, she lacked critical skills required to lead a high-producing sales team.

How The Ginac Group Helped
Working with Sally and the CEO, The Ginac Group assessed Sally's leadership and communication skills as well as her behavioral style. We also job shadowed her in her new role for a week to identify key areas for improvement and skill development.

Results Delivered
Sally realized that she had strong control needs and a desire to be involved in every aspect of every deal. By helping her understand her behavior and how it affected the team, Sally was able to let go of her need to control every aspect of every project, improve her communication skills, and enhance the morale of the group. The CEO reports that Sally is now doing an outstanding job in her new role.
