Bill Bock is currently a General Partner at CenterPoint Ventures, an Austin-based venture capital company.
Prior to joining CenterPoint Ventures, Bill came from Hewlett-Packard where he was the vice president and general manager of HP's IPS Services and solutions organization. Bill joined HP in 1999 with the acquisition of Dazel Corporation, where he served as president and CEO. Prior to Dazel, Bill served as executive vice president and chief operating officer at Tivoli Systems, where he was instrumental in the company's successful IPO and the 1996 merger with IBM. Bill joined Tivoli in 1994 after 10 years with Convex Computer Corporation (now Hewlett-Packard), where he last held the position of senior vice president of worldwide sales. He previously served as senior vice president of administration and chief financial officer. Bill began his career with Texas Instruments.
In addition to his participation on the Ginac Group Advisory Board, Bill serves on the boards of directors for the Austin Software Council, the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce, the KLRU public broadcasting system, Silicon Laboratories and is chairman of the board for the Austin Entrepreneur's Foundation.
